Privacy Policy

This policy explains Stayka.co's privacy approach and the third-party services used on the site. See the separate KVKK Information Notice for the statutory disclosure required under Turkish law.
1. Data minimization
Stayka does not operate visitor accounts, registration, user ratings, newsletters, payments, bookings or a contact form. The site is designed not to collect personal data that is unnecessary for the service.
2. Browser preferences
Limited information such as language and Google Maps/cookie choices may be stored in browser localStorage. These preferences are not used to build marketing profiles.
3. Analytics and advertising
Stayka does not use Google Analytics, advertising/marketing tracking cookies, behavioral advertising or retargeting technologies.
4. Google Maps
The interactive Google Maps iframe is blocked by default and loads only after a separate user choice. Google may then process IP address, browser/device data, request time, approximate location and—if the user is signed in—data associated with a Google account under its own policies. Refusal does not block Stayka content; users may independently open an external Google Maps link.
5. Google Places / Google content
Place names, addresses, locations, ratings, review counts, Google reviews and place photos may be supplied by Google Maps Platform / Places. When a Google-sourced image file is displayed, the browser may request it directly from Google, allowing Google to process the IP address and technical request data. Google Maps and available photo/review author attribution are preserved.
6. Tripadvisor
Some places may display Tripadvisor-sourced ratings or matching data with the required source and brand attribution.
7. Wikipedia, weather and other sources
Cultural and historical summaries may be supplied from a Stayka server cache based on Wikipedia; an external Wikipedia page opens only after the user clicks its link. The weather widget may send a technical request to Open-Meteo. Attribution does not imply partnership or endorsement.
8. External links
Third-party provider links are for redirection only. Privacy, cookies, payment, booking and contract practices on third-party sites are governed by those providers.
9. Email
The contact page uses a mailto link and does not automatically transmit data. If a user voluntarily emails info@stayka.co, the information is processed through email services to respond.
10. Security
Stayka aims to apply reasonable technical and organizational measures including access limitation, secure connections, provider controls and data minimization. Absolute security over the internet cannot be guaranteed.
11. Children and sensitive data
Stayka does not offer accounts or personalised services to children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Users should not email health data, identity documents, biometric data or other sensitive/unnecessary personal data.
12. Updates
This policy may be updated if the service, providers or applicable law changes. The current version and date are published on this page.
