A relaxed island plan combining villages, coast and food stops while respecting travel distances.

01

Divide the island into areas

Gökçeada is large; pair two or three stops in the same direction instead of trying to see every village in one circuit. This keeps most of the day from being spent in transit.

When moving between the center, villages and coast, account for your return time from the start.

02

Slow down in the villages

Stone streets and local character deserve more than a quick photo stop. Leave time for walking, coffee and small local producers.

Respect residential areas; avoid entering private property or photographing people without permission.

03

Make wind part of the plan

Island weather can change which coast works best and affect sea conditions. Check the current forecast and place outdoor stops in suitable parts of the day.

During busy periods, allow extra time for ferries and vehicle queues.
