A flexible, unhurried plan with the city on day one, Troy on day two, and the coast or peninsula on day three.
Day 1: Explore the center on foot
Combine the waterfront, city center and the area around Çimenlik Castle. Keep stops close together so you have time to settle in and enjoy the strait.
Staying in the center for dinner keeps the pace comfortable before the next day's journey.
Day 2: See Troy in context
Plan Troy Archaeological Site and the Troy Museum on the same day. Allow separate time for the open-air site and museum, then choose the order using current opening hours.
In summer, plan for water, sun protection and a proper rest break.
Day 3: Choose one direction
Dedicate the last day to one option: the Assos coast, Gallipoli Peninsula or an island connection. They lie in different directions, so combining them creates unnecessary travel time.
If you use a ferry, check the service through the official channel that day and leave a buffer for the return.
